Introduction
The Master of Science in Information Security and Privacy degree program offers a 360-degree perspective on information security and privacy that is not available through existing programs in cybersecurity and information assurance. Top faculty from across The University of Texas at Austin offer world-class education and training in one of the fastest-growing fields in today's marketplace. The interdisciplinary curriculum covers technology, governance, risk, privacy, and more. The program prepares its students to bridge knowledge gaps with training from multiple specialties and perspectives. The program's interdisciplinary curriculum is designed to engage and educate professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines.
- Study in-person on the UT Austin campus, or online via synchronous remote learning.
- No GRE/GMAT scores are required
- Classes meet two days per month (Friday and Saturday 8 am-5 pm CT)
- Graduate in 21 months with a degree from UT Austin (2 classes/semester for 5 consecutive semesters)
- Admissions for Fall 2025 start on October 1, 2024
- Tuition is $45,000 (Payable by Semester)
- No course or major requirements for admission into the MS ISP degree program.
